Caspar Schjelbred

Born in Denmark (1979), raised in Sweden, Parisian since 1999, Caspar Schjelbred mixes improvisational theatre and comedy with clowning and mime.He performs and teaches across the world, always bringing a touch of Parisian style and existentialism to the table. His work is dedicated to the creative imagination and aims at being visual and visceral experience for the audience; something between a painting, a poem, and a song. Vivid characterisation, hypnotizing movement and swift transformations are the hallmarks of Caspar’s one-man variety show Plan C, which he presents regularly at the intimate Petit Théâtre du Bonheur in Montmartre.
